Hi, I’m Marie!
I’m Marie. I’m a photographer in Harrison, OH and decided to add “travel agent” after realizing I could both write about my experiences traveling and offer insight to the client base that I already have….well it just made sense.
My husband, Dennis, and I are both avid Florida goers and big on exploring new areas.
We plan our vacations around being in nature as much as possible while also having access to all the amenities that make vacationing easy. This, of course, excludes Disney and Universal where we strive to be on-site.
With non-Disney/Universal vacations, our goal is to ONLY go to local restaurants and shops. Not only are we fans of supporting small businesses, but we feel a vacation is best when you’re blending with the locals!
My blog posts will be focused around personal experiences with LOTS of pictures….I mean, I am a photographer! Fair warning, unless it’s a destination wedding trip, most of those pictures will be from my not-very-fancy iPhone.
This is my husband, Dennis. He’s going to be in a lot of pictures! He’s a deputy in our county and ANY beach vacation we take, you can bet it’s because this guy was dying to be in the ocean again.
This is Emma, the oldest who now has two little’s of her own! This is one of Emma’s Senior pictures we did in…ummm….whatever the name of the town is that The Vampire Diaries was filmed in? It was on our drive back from Tybee Island and Emma is obsessed with TVD so, we made it happen.
This is Olivia, the middle…she also is older/more grown but MAN!! This is one of my all-time favorites of her from our family trip to Ft. Myers, Florida!
And Meadow, the youngest. She’s basically convinced she’s the star of everyone’s show.
It’s kinda true though.
